The Betta Nano is the latest addition to the successful Betta Lifespace range of aquariums which extend from small starter-tanks, to large marine systems which incorporate separate tank and cabinet-housed sump units.
The Nano has a 90 litre capacity and combines great design with a high spec level at a very competitive price, making it easier to run a small marine system in the home, and a strong competitor to other Nano tanks such as models by Deltec and Orca.
The filtration system is easy to maintain, starting with a large bio-sponge, followed by filter media contained in three plastic containers which neatly stack on top of each other, each having retractable handles for easy access. Finally, there is both a UV sterilizer unit and a protein skimmer to complete the filtration.
The lighting is accommodated within the hood and
consists of two 24 watt PL tubes, and three LED's providing a moonlight
function. The hood has a separate aperture for feeding at the front and
a support arm so that the whole hood can be supported during cleaning and maintenance. Cooling is achieved by two hood-mounted fans.
The tank is available in steel grey or black and is usually held in stock at the Aquahouse shop in Witney.
